Studio Borealis
I built Studio Borealis as a comfortable, modern space that lacks the stuffy feel of a traditional studio. With both soft natural light and a clean, light-controlled set, the studio serves as a blank slate, letting your brand and personality take center stage.
Built for the Work
The studio is a versatile tool designed for efficiency and professional results. I spent years learning the studio the hard way, so I built this space to include everything I wished I’d had from the start. Whether we are shooting a high-end commercial campaign or a quick headshot, the environment is ready to handle it.
The Atmosphere
The space is designed with a mix of industrial grit and warmth, featuring concrete floors, simple decor, and plenty of plants. It is a professional environment that feels inviting, not sterile.
The Light
The studio is designed to handle different styles of work under one roof. The front area is flooded with natural light for sessions that need a soft, organic feel. For a more controlled and modern look, the half-cove cyclorama wall in the back of the building provides the bright white "infinite" backdrop required for high-end commercial work.
The Amenities
There is a private dressing room for outfit changes and an on-site bathroom. The studio stays stocked with cold beverages and a "just in case" kit that includes hairspray, combs, and other essentials.

Studio Borealis is located in South Fargo. Being near the interstate and outside of the downtown core makes it a convenient, easy-to-find stop for busy professionals in the middle of a workday. Find the studio using Google Maps.
