Wildlings

I’m not sure what day it was... Tuesday? Or maybe it was Wednesday... when I realized Anton had been wearing the same shirt for three days. Like any family, we can be really, really lazy, and, confession, we have stayed in our PJs for an entire weekend a time or two. But, the same shirt for three days? That was a little extreme.

So, how did we get to this point, and how in the heck did I not notice? My only explanation is that we are turning into Wildlings and I blame Covid-19.

I blame Covid-19 for lots of things: the weather, my allergies... car problems. If it's a problem, Covid-19 is the reason. But, in all seriousness, it really has done a number on my ability to both focus and to care about norms. And while I’m doing a fine job at keeping everyone alive, our steady descent into Wildling-ism will likely continue. And that’s fine. We’ll return to proper society again sometime soon.
