It’s been an odd winter up here in that upper upper upper midwest. For most of this winter season, we’ve seen only brown grass and the occasional flurry. While, I’d like to say we’ve been spoiled (I mean, come on, it’s been 40° in January – that never happens), there is definitely a part of me that has missed the snow.
This morning, we woke up to a layer of the white stuff and for the rest of the day it’s kept on coming down. It’s been a good snowy day too – beautiful fluffy flakes, barely any wind, mild enough to play outside. Our darling daughter was so excited to play out in the snow today and it reminded me of when I was a kid and would play outside for hours and hours.
I wish all snow was this loved and welcomed.
